WHAT IS E-RATE?
High-speed Wi-Fi and internet for schools. Seriously. An FCC program with money available to help schools install a lightning-fastconnection to the internet.
ACCESS POINT
Where the magic happens! A wireless access pointis what actually produces the Wi-Fi. Connect several AP’s for seamlessconnectivity throughout your whole building or home.
NETWORK SWITCH
Network switches connect wireless access pointsand desktop computers to routers and the internet. PoE switches send power to wirelessaccess points (or WAP’s). Some can even do routing behind the scenes.

FIREWALL
The last step before the internet. It sees everything entering yourWi-Fi network and heading towards the internet. A good firewall even decrypts networktraffic to block malicious attackers. We bring PaloAlto Networks on board forimplementation to make sure everything goes smoothly!
ROUTER
Most home “routers” have these built-in. Arouter connects your network to other routers on the internet. In larger institutions,a router connects multiple local networks, and allows for seamless connectivityto the internet.
